A changing world and dynamic seasons
Monster Hunter Wilds introduces two distinct seasons: Fallow, where hungry predators hunt for food, and Plenty, where landscapes become fertile and vibrant. The seasons affect both the ecosystem and hunting strategies.
Monster herds and predator hierarchy
For the first time, large herds can be encountered in the game world, where even larger predators can travel in groups. Their movements and behavior depend on the season and environmental conditions.
Freedom of discovery on expeditions
Expeditions offer multiple objectives and allow you to target any monster in the area at any time. You will be accompanied by Handler, Palico, and the new Seikret horse, which brings new possibilities to the game.
Seikret – more than just a horse
Seikret allows not only fast movement, but also weapon switching on the run, automatic dodging of some attacks, allowing temporary retreat to use items or sharpen weapons.
Focus Mode and Wounds – a new combat system
The new Focus Mode allows for better targeting and defense, while consecutive attacks create wounds that can deal massive bonus damage when hit. Precise targeting allows for new Focus Strikes.
For single players and multiplayer
In a difficult situation, you can call for help from other players with the SOS Flare for multiplayer or play alone with NPC Hunters.
