All products sold by SELLME.EE are intended for consumption in the European Economic Area, therefore all products are subject to the manufacturer's specified terms and conditions for submitting a claim. According to European Union directives, the claim period for all products is at least 24 months.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL

1.1. SELLME.EE is responsible for the defects of the goods that were present at the time of delivery

. 1.2 . The warranty conditions do not apply to products that have been modified or repaired by a person or company that does not have the rights to do so.

1.3. SELLME.EE mediates the manufacturer's warranty procedures for the devices sold, if there is no authorized service representative for the purchased product in Estonia, but does not perform warranty repairs on the devices.

1.4. SELLME.EE mediates the manufacturer's warranty for up to 2 years. After the 2nd year, the mediation of the manufacturer's warranty is negotiable. For products that have an authorized service representative in Estonia, the consumer must deliver the defective device for repair independently.

1.5. The basis for performing warranty maintenance is an invoice issued by SELLME.EE and a device with an undamaged serial number. If the device's serial number is damaged or illegible, SELLME.EE has the right to refuse to mediate the free warranty repair procedure.

1.6. The product must be returned to the warranty or service center in its original packaging (if any changes have been made to the package, this must be reported when the product is returned for warranty).

2. WARRANTY PERIOD

2.1. The warranty period is valid from the moment the goods are handed over to the Consumer.

2.2. Additional warranty extensions that are purchased in addition to the products must be registered by the customer in accordance with the instructions included with the product within 30 days (For example: HP extended warranty service pack, etc.). If this is not done, the warranty extension will not be valid and the responsibility for it lies solely with the customer.

2.3. Warranty maintenance performed during the warranty period does not, as a rule, extend the warranty. As an exception, if the warranty object is completely replaced with a new one, this is equivalent to purchasing a new product and the warranty period for the replaced product will be valid again in full from the date of receipt of the goods by the Consumer.

NB! You still need to keep the purchase invoice, without it the warranty is not valid.

3. WARRANTY EXECUTION

3.1. Warranty repairs are performed only at a service center authorized by the manufacturer. 

3.2. The product returned for warranty service must be accompanied by a brief description of the nature of the technical problem, including a description of how it appeared and was discovered.

3.3. The customer must deliver the problematic device or the device requiring warranty repair to the authorized service center of the respective manufacturer.

3.4. Transportation for warranty repair is at the seller's expense. All products received for warranty repair are tested, after which further action is determined - repair, replacement or return to the customer (if no defect is detected). If SELLME.EE mediates the warranty procedure, information will be provided within 7 days from the receipt of the device by SELLME.EE; in the case of authorized service centers, however, in accordance with their internal regulations and the order of the work ahead. A replacement device will not be issued while the product is under warranty repair.

3.5. If the device cannot be repaired during the warranty period and its production has ended, the manufacturer or importer will replace the device with an equivalent or better one under warranty. If replacement is not possible, the purchase price will be refunded to the Consumer.

4. CONSUMER RIGHTS

4.1.  The consumer may withdraw from a contract concluded by distance means within 14 days without giving a reason. The purpose of establishing the 14-day right of return is to give the consumer the opportunity to try the goods ordered from the online store and, in case of unsuitability, return them without fear of negative consequences.

4.2. The 2-year claim submission period set out in § 218 (2) of the Consumer Protection Act applies to sold products.

4.3. The claim submission period begins to apply from the date the customer receives the goods and is valid for 2 years.

4.4   The trader cannot exclude the consumer's right of withdrawal if the goods are used. The same applies to the right of withdrawal if the goods are not returned in the original packaging. 

4.5 If the consumer wishes to avoid compensation for the decrease in value, the product must be used and tried out in the same way as it can be done in a regular store and the item must be returned in its original packaging and in its original condition. If the consumer uses the item more than is necessary to verify the nature and functioning of the item or does not return the item in its original packaging and in its original condition, the consumer is liable for the decrease in value of the item.

5. IF A DEFECT OCCURS, ACT AS FOLLOWS:

5.1. Find the purchase invoice for the goods.

5.2. Take the product to an authorized service center.

NB! If the device brought in for warranty repair is not found to have a defect caused by the manufacturing process or materials used, the customer may be charged a repair order processing fee.

NB! SELLME.EE is not obligated to buy back or exchange products that the customer has purchased. The possibility and conditions of returning or exchanging a specific product are decided by the warranty department.

6. WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS AND EXTENSION

6.1. Warranty obligations do not extend in the following cases:

6.1.1. Damages that occur during transportation;

6.1.2. Failures due to natural disasters (storm, flood, earthquake, thunder, fire);

6.1.3. Failures due to disturbances in the power grid;

6.1.4. Due to unstable power supply voltage (if the power supply voltage fluctuates in the room where you want to use the product, we recommend purchasing a voltage regulator to avoid problems, as the warranty does not extend to failures due to unstable power supply voltage);

6.1.5. Failures due to improper use;

6.1.6. Failures or damage due to cleaning, scratching, cutting;

6.1.7. The device was deliberately or negligently hit, damaged, disassembled;

6.1.8. Failures due to liquid, foreign parts (dust, sand, chemicals, food, etc.) getting into the device;

6.1.9. Due to rust, discoloration (yellowing, contamination, etc.);

6.1.10. The device was not used for its intended purpose;

6.1.11. The malfunctions were repaired by a service technician/person not authorized by the manufacturer;

6.1.12. If the serial number has been changed, rubbed off, or cannot be determined;

6.1.13. The device was not used in accordance with the terms of the user manual.

7. GENERAL PROVISIONS

7.1. If a product purchased from the SELLME.EE online store fails during the warranty period:

7.1.1 Warranty repairs are free of charge.

7.1.2 Warranty repairs are performed only by authorized service centers.

7.1.3 When handing over the product for warranty repairs, the purchase document is sufficient .

7.1.4 The manufacturer's warranty does not cover consumable parts (batteries, toner cartridges, print heads, CDs, mouse pads, license stickers, etc.) and packaging and documentation. In most cases, the warranty only covers the mechanical parts of the device. However, if you have any additional questions, we always recommend that you contact SELLME.EE by e-mail ( [email protected] ) and you will be provided with the necessary information and offered the best solution to the situation.

NB: An invoice, which usually corresponds to a warranty coupon , will be sent to your email after your order has been shipped.

After logging in to our online store, you can find all completed orders and generated purchase invoices in your user account's order history.

7.2. According to the law of the Republic of Estonia, in most cases, a purchase document (receipt, invoice or leasing agreement) is sufficient if the product is listed by name. Such a document confirms the date of purchase of the product and the person who purchased the device. The seller's warranty card must be presented if the purchase document does not contain or does not accurately indicate the device model (in this case, the device identification data must be entered in the warranty card). However, if you did not find the warranty card in the shipment and you feel uneasy, please contact SELLME.EE customer service by e-mail at [email protected] . We will specify the warranty service for a specific product and provide you with all the necessary information. If necessary, we will send you the warranty card by mail.

7.3. IMPORTANT! If a product purchased from the SELLME.EE online store breaks down during the warranty period and is beyond repair, the authorized service provider will issue a document to the buyer confirming the fact, which, upon presentation to the seller, the customer has the right to exchange it for another similar or different product (or SELLME.EE undertakes to refund the amount paid for the product). In such a situation, it is necessary to scan the document issued by the service provider and send it to SELLME.EE customer service by e-mail at [email protected] and we will agree on the further procedure for exchanging the product or refunding the money.
